Church Recommendations

Boston is home to a wide variety of churches. Here are a few attended by Navs students and staff:  

Aletheia

Aletheia is diverse, growing spiritual family centered on the person and mission of Jesus Christ.  Working to build a great city, renewed by the truth, grace, and changing power of the gospel.  Sunday at 9:25, 11. and 12:35pm at the Cambridge Y, 820 Massachusetts Ave, Cambridge.

Mosaic Boston 

Mosaic Boston is a contemporary Christian community gathering in Brookline with a passion for God, the Bible, and the city. Emphasis on church as family.  Services are really simple to focus your attention on what’s most important in Christianity and in life.  Contact Ethan at (702)843-9126

Ruggles Baptist Church

Ruggles Baptist Church is a historic church located near South Campus at 874 Beacon Street. Worship services are at 10AM. Contact Anne Sophie at (518)948-2956

Calvary Chapel

Calvary Chapel is a fellowship of believers that desire to know Christ and be conformed into His image by the power of the Holy Spirit. They believe that the only true basis of Christian fellowship is His (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians. Park Street Church

Park Street Church is one of the oldest churches in Boston. It's located on the Boston Common, just off of the Park Street T stop. PSC is a large church with multiple service times. Traditional services take place at 8:30am and 11am, contemporary worship takes place at 4pm. 

Redeemer Fellowship

Redeemer Fellowship Church is a gathering of God’s people (church) in fellowship with one another that revolves around our great Redeemer, Jesus Christ! Here at Redeemer you will find a group of imperfect people trying to follow Christ as we live in community with one another. Worship services are held at 10am in Watertown. Grace City

Grace City is a newer, younger church plant that desires to proclaim the way of Jesus for the good of the city. They believe in living in the way of Jesus, pursuing radical belonging, and cultivating a lasting movement throughout New England. Services are at 9, 10:30, and 12pm at 361 Newbury St (enter on Mass Ave). Contact Hollie at (843)729-2215

Hilltop Church

Hilltop Church meets in Cambridge. It is a diverse community connected to the Justice House of Prayer. Emphasis on prayer, worship, discipleship, evangelism and compassion. Contact Dave Rogers for more information.

Bethel AME Church

Sunday Bethel AME is a richly diverse, Holy-Spirit empowered congregation. Bethel is an African Methodist Episcopal church seeking to love God, love others and invest in local community.
Service Times: 8am & 11am, 38 Walk Hill Street, Jamaica Plain, Boston. Contact Dave for more information. 

Reality Church

Reality Church Boston seeks to be a church community following Jesus as a diverse family advancing joy in the city of Boston and beyond. Gathers regularly on Sundays at 10:30 AM at Excel High School in South Boston. Contact Matt and Alex Teal for more information.
