Rich Brzoska
Rich is the Campus Director and is from Wilton, CT. He graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 2015 and spent a year working on tugboats on the Great Lakes. It was while he was working in the maritime industry that God called him to collegiate ministry. His life purpose is “to see broken and hurting people liberated, through Christ, from their burdens; by faithful and loving service and guidance, freeing and equipping them to do the same for others.” He enjoys the outdoors such as skiing, hiking, camping, sports and being out on the water. You can also expect to find him hunting down a good cup of coffee and playing with his flat-coated retriever, Finn. |
Robert Meyer
Robert is full-time staff and spent the last eleven years serving in Angola and Portugal. As he looked to return to the states, his ideal position was in campus ministry in a city with a high percentage of Portuguese-speaking people. Massachusetts has a significant number of Portuguese-speakers and so Boston University was the perfect fit! He is so excited to see how his unique experiences will add to the team this year as he assimilates back into US culture and campus living. He resonates with Philippians 3:14 "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Robert is an avid twitcher (bird-watcher) and has photographed more than 740 unique species of birds! |
Cora Welton
Cora is from Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in May 2020 with double majors in English and Film Studies. She was a BU student during her first semester of college in Fall 2016, where she met The Navigators and came to know Jesus. She then transferred back to Nebraska and spent the rest of her college career working with Navs and being discipled, while also investing in college women, especially within the Greek system (Go Phi Mu!). She just moved to Allston and has undertaken all of the DIY home projects possible! Other things that capture Cora's heart: banana bread, discipleship, exploring new coffee shops (but for a good iced matcha), writing, and starting seven books at once and never finishing them. |
Jonny Loveless
Jonny is part-time staff and hails from Dubuque, Iowa. Before joining The Navigators, he served as a teaching pastor for a local church and also earned three separate Masters degrees in Theology. That scholarship combined with experience in teaching has built in him a deep love for the Bible. A verse that resonates with him is Isaiah 11:9b "...for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as the waters cover the sea." Jonny is so excited for the 21-22 academic year as his first experience serving college students. He loves intentional community and has already experienced that in the culture of the Boston University Navigators. In his free time he enjoys CrossFit, hiking, and spending time with his wife and three kids.

Maria Aitchison
Maria is Associate Staff for the Boston University Navigators. She is originally from Newfoundland, Canada, and. was discipled by the Navigators as a college student. She is (happily) married to Bill and has two adult children and a grandson! They have lived and worked in 3 countries and 5 states. She has worked as an executive & consultant in corporate settings, and along that journey, has led bible studies and mentored others. Now, Maria feels called to invest in building disciple-makers back in the Navigator Collegiate ministry – to help build another generation of laborers. “What I was taught as a college student in Navs long ago continues to make all the difference in my life every single day, even today, and I want to pass that on to another generation, that they too can have the tools, perspective and understanding – to make knowing and deeply following Jesus the primary purpose and driver of their lives as they navigate the details of their life on earth, and that they can experience all that God has for them, as I have”.
