David and Rachael Rogers
David and Rachael Rogers are Campus Directors for Boston University Navigators.
David Rogers graduated from Penn State University in 2009 where he studied Kinesiology and Physical Education. After college he completed the LIFT Discipleship Program at Camp-of-the-Woods in Speculator, NY. It was there that God planted the seed of calling into discipleship ministry. Dave has been on staff with the Navigators in Boston since 2012. He loves being active, playing games and sports and adventuring in the outdoors. Dave has a passion for knowing and understanding God and helping young men grow in faith as followers of Jesus.
Rachael (Allen) Rogers is originally from New Jersey, but detoured through several states before arriving in Boston. She graduated from Covenant College in Chattanooga, TN with a degree in Music Performance and Business Management. Rachael's passion for discipleship began when an upperclass woman named Emily came alongside her during a time of transition in her faith. Emily helped Rachael walk through tough questions and begin to explore a relationship with God. Rachael loves reading, adventures of all sorts, exploring, laughing, nature, and hugs of all shapes and sizes. She's rarely seen without a cup of coffee.

Craig and Nancy Parker
Craig and Nancy Parker have served as Campus Directors at BU from 2010-2016, transitioning to City Leaders in Boston in 2017. Prior to that, Craig was the Northeast Collegiate Regional Leader from 2007-2009 and the campus director at Dartmouth College from 1990-2007. Craig and Nancy have four children and six grandchildren. Their daughter, Caren (CAS 99) and her husband Drew (SED 99) were both rowers on the varsity crew team. Their daughter, Laura (CAS 10) completed her Masters in Public Health at BU in 2014. Craig is a founding board member and former board chair of the Lwala Community Alliance, and has engaged in international development in Morocco, Honduras, Mexico, Kenya and Croatia. Craig loves to play squash, restore antiques, and hike in the mountains of New Hampshire, his home state. Nancy loves serving her children and grandchildren and meeting with women to encourage them in Christ.

Sarah Esselborn
Sarah Esselborn is from Katonah, NY. She graduated from BU in 2014 with a bachelor's in Human Physiology with a minor in Public Health. She spent the last two years working with the Navigators in Amsterdam developing an international student ministry, and has returned to join our staff team at BU. She loves espresso, biking, a great non-fiction book, sunshine, open-air markets, the beach, exploring new cities, and picnics. Sarah is passionate about investing in and equipping the next generation of laborers to share the gospel in their own countries and contexts. She dreams of living overseas as a physician one day, sharing the gospel among her colleagues and neighbors.

Serene Chua
Serene Chua is from Ipoh, Malaysia. She graduated from Colby-Sawyer College in 2015 with a Multidisciplinary Studies major and minors in Philosophy and Psychology. She was involved with The Navigators in college and was discipled by Navigators Staff, Cindy Benson and her late husband Benny. It was there that she discovered her passion for discipling younger women. She also has a passion for worship ministry and loves leading others into an encounter with Jesus and His love. Serene has a heart for the nations and loves meeting people from all over the world and seeing how the gospel truly transforms lives and crosses all kinds of boundaries. She loves singing, playing the guitar, writing songs, traveling, anything fun really! |
Rich Brzoska
Rich Brzoska is from Wilton, CT. He graduated from Maine Maritime Academy in 2015 with a degree in Marine Transportation Operations. After graduation he spent a year working on tugboats on the Great Lakes. It was while he was working on the boats that God called him to collegiate ministry and discipleship. He enjoys the outdoors such as hiking, camping, sports and being out on the water. When it comes to God, he is passionate about learning more about what it means to have a relationship with Him and who He is. Rich also has a heart for helping others to grow and mature in their walk with God as well. |
